Time matters: a delay of more than 90 minutes between heat exposure and treatment significantly lowers the chances of recovery.
The first-aid rule vets agree on is simple: cool first, transport second. Start cooling your pet down immediately — before you even head to the vet — because every minute of delay increases the risk.
